Ingredients With a Purpose
-
Goat's Milk
Goat's milk contains alpha-hydroxy acids like lactic acid which help remove dead skin cells from the surface layers of the skin. It helps make the skin's barrier strong by retaining its elastin, a protein that keeps our skin firm and tight.
-
Olive Oil
Olive oil is high in antioxidants and polyphenols that fight oxidation; which produce free radicals and damage the cells, contributing to premature aging. It may restore smoothness by creating a protective skin barrier.
-
Coconut Oil
The fatty acids in coconut oil make it extra soothing on the skin, scalp, or oral cavity. It is a natural detoxifier, pulling dirt and grime to the surface so that it can be easily washed away.
-
Shea Butter
Abundant in vitamins and fatty acids like linoleic, oleic, stearic, and palmitic acids making it incredibly nourishing for the skin. It acts as a strong humectant, preserving moisture in the hair follicle.
-
Beeswax
Beeswax forms a natural barrier to protect and hydrate the skin. Rich in vitamin A, it supports cell reconstruction, promoting smooth, supple skin. Ideal in lip balms, beeswax ensures a lasting, smooth application, keeping lips naturally lustrous and well-conditioned.
-
Cocoa Butter
Renowned for its rich moisturizing qualities, cocoa butter melts at body temperature, enveloping the skin in a hydrating embrace. Its fatty acids nourish deeply, aiding in the skin's natural healing processes and preventing dryness for a smooth, radiant complexion.
-
Coffee
Caffeine in coffee may reduce the appearance of skin imperfections by brightening the overall skin tone.
-
Oatmeal
Oatmeal is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. It gently exfoliates the skin, helping to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. Oatmeal also helps to retain moisture, making it ideal for dry or sensitive skin types. Additionally, its antioxidant properties help to protect the skin from environmental stressors, promoting a healthy, radiant complexion.
-
Lye
Lye is a critical ingredient in the soap-making process; It reacts with oils during the saponification process to create soap and glycerin, changing the liquid oils into a solid soap bar. We add extra oils to our product in a process called 'superfatting' to make sure no lye remains in the final product of both our bar soap and Hand Soaps.

-
Avocado Oil
Rich in vitamins A, D, and E, and fatty acids. It deeply moisturizes and nourishes the skin, promoting a healthy, radiant complexion.

Soy Wax
Soy wax is a natural, renewable resource known for its clean-burning properties. It produces less soot and fewer toxins compared to paraffin wax, which often causes headaches, making it a healthier choice for indoor air quality. Soy wax candles tend to burn longer and cooler, providing a steady release of fragrance. Additionally, soy wax is biodegradable and eco-friendly, aligning with sustainable practices.
At Bleatin' Bubbles, we pride ourselves on using only natural ingredients in crafting our products. While we strive to provide a delightful and skin-loving experience, it's essential to acknowledge that everyone's skin is unique.
Before making a purchase or using any product, we recommend thoroughly checking the ingredient list to ensure it aligns with your personal preferences and any known sensitivities. For your convenience, we've compiled an ingredient glossary, offering insights into potential allergens.
To further safeguard your skin's well-being, we suggest performing a patch test with any new product before incorporating it into your routine. Simply apply a small amount to your wrist and wait for 24 hours. If any adverse reactions occur, discontinue use and consult with a medical professional.
It's worth noting that some of our soap bars contain exfoliants. While these can enhance your skincare routine, it's important to exercise caution. The goats remind us not to use exfoliants on sensitive areas and to avoid over-exfoliation. Your skin deserves the gentle care it craves!
